This month the premier wedding blog, Style Unveiled, featured a session highlighting the work of Judy Lee of the Ju.Lee Collection - a talented custom dress designer! We photographed her new 2015 designs at the beautiful Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park, CA.
The 2015 Ju.Lee Collection is designed for the non-traditional bride who loves romantic bridal styles that express her bold and independent personality with a touch of sexy, vintage detail. I took care to control lighting so subtle details like intricate lacework, beading, sheer panels, and the use of gold color would show through. Makeup artist Grace Jennifer Trang went with a modern, effortless look pairing soft bronze smokey eyes with a classic chignon that’s been modernized with a messy finish. Stylist Rommellyn Fisher worked with Tiffany & Co. as our main jeweler to accessorize the gowns because the company combines elegance, class, allure, and romance.

After months of planning, we spent a day at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, CA working on an Indian styled-shoot. Weddings from this culture are often highlighted by centuries of tradition, over the top floral arrangements, bright colors, and the most intricately-made clothing and jewelry.
